Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American voice actor as well as a director producer and singer. An attractive and intelligent actor, she is an example to numerous Asian actors looking to become famous in Hollywood. Through a succession of appearances in various popular television series her fame was boosted as she was a part of the ensemble of the legal comedy series Ally McBeal where she played the malicious Ling Woo. Her fame exploded into films roles like Shanghai Noon or Charlie's Angels. She then delivered an amazing performance as Japanese criminal lord O'RenIshii in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. Around the same time she appeared in major characters in other box-office flops which included Rise: Blood Hunter. Then she began voicing the characters of animated films like Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. The small screen role of Mia Mason in Cashmere Mafia have not produced results. A recurring role in the critically-acclaimed police drama Southland allowed her to regain recognition as a well-known actress. Liu is careful when choosing roles in order so that she doesn't get stereotyped in the industry which is extremely competitive. She's accepted her Chinese roots but hasn't let it restrict her creativity.
