Charissa Thompson
Thompson has left FOX Sports, and began hosting in Versus Sports and Yahoo Sports. Thompson was host for Versus' NHL coverage in the studio, and also produced web videos for Yahoo's highly-trafficked platform. Thompson was the site's presence at the most prestigious sporting events, such as The 2010 Winter Olympics and FIFA World Cup. Her success in these two arenas led her to be tapped by ESPN to be one of the hosts in the new afternoon show called "Numbers Never Lie" in August 2011. In July 2012, she switched to the wildly popular "SportsNation," enjoying a successful run that lasted until she left the network to go back to Los Angeles for the launch of FS1 in May 2013. As a sports lover at heart, Thompson has also shown that she has the ability to seamlessly cross into the entertainment world of television. She was hired as a co-host for the Hollywood newspaper "Extra" in June of 2014 after working a number of jobs part-time. In this capacity the magazine filmed its shows at Universal Studios while also staffing award shows as well as other prestigious events on a regular basis.
