
American actor Thomas William Selleck. His most notable role was Thomas Magnum, a private investigator in the television series Magnum, P.I. (1980-1988), where he was nominated for five times for the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead actor in a Drama Series. The award was presented to him in 1985. In the TV series Blue Bloods, Selleck has starred as Frank Reagan, New York City Police Commissioner. Since 2005, he's been playing Jesse Stone, a troubled police chief in small-town New York City. He has also been featured in nine television films inspired by Robert B. Parker novels. Selleck has also been seen in movies in the role of Peter Mitchell, a bachelor architect and architect, in Three Men and a Baby (1987) and Three Men and a Little Lady (90).
